Rudiger (Rudy) Mack

Rudy Mack retired from Hapag-Lloyd in 2007 after 35 years with one of the world’s top shipping lines. Currently, he is the founder and President of Management Consultancy Rudy Mack Associates, Inc., a New York-based company which focuses on the maritime and transportation industry.
Rudy brings 42 years of shipping and transportation experience to the Board and his global experience includes managing offices in Latin America, Europe, and Asia. He was President and CEO of Hapag-Lloyd (America) Inc. from 1999 to 2007.
Throughout his career, Rudy has received numerous awards including:
- NY Traffic Club Transportation Person of the Year
- International Maritime Hall of Fame
- The Containerization & Intermodal Institute Connie Award
- NY/NJ Foreign Freight Forwarders Person of the Year
