Lori Janson, MBA
Corporate Communications
In December 2008, Lori was appointed to the GCT Global Container Terminals Inc. senior management team to head up Corporate Communications for all facilities under the GCT brand. She is responsible for the strategic development and management of internal and external communications, media relations, brand management, corporate social responsibility, and government relations for Canada.
Lori has more than 20 years experience in corporate communications, marketing and public relations in both the private and government sectors. She joined TSI Terminal Systems Inc. in 2005 following 15 years with the Vancouver Port Authority. Lori holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario), a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario, along with a certificate in Business Communications and Marketing from Simon Fraser University. She is a member of the American Marketing Association's (AMA) Professional Chapters Council, Past President of the BC Chapter of the AMA, and a member of the Women's Executive Network and the Vancouver Board of Trade.
