Chris Ireland

Chris Ireland is Portfolio Manager, Infrastructure with the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. He came to Teachers' in 2006 from the investment banking group of Macquarie Bank in New York where he was involved in acquisitions of infrastructure assets, and providing development financing for wind power projects.
Prior to his career in banking, Chris worked at Northland Power and at Stone and Webster developing gas-fired power plants and wind farms. Chris has an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University, and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Chris is a Professional Engineer licensed in Ontario.
