We will work with government and industry to improve policies and practices supportive of environmental protection, particularly with respect to the handling and transportation of dangerous goods.
We will develop and implement environmental training programs to increase the environmental awareness of our employees and to educate them on their responsibilities regarding environmental protection.
We will require, whenever possible, shippers and contractors to incorporate reasonable measures to reduce the potential environmental impact of dangerous goods and other products handled by our terminals.
We will respond immediately to emergencies to protect employees, customers, contractors, the public, and the environment.
We will communicate this policy to our employees, customers, contractors, regulatory agencies, and the public.
Responsibility and authority
The President and Chief Executive Officer has the responsibility and authority to implement this Policy, including the development and approval of Company policies, procedures and guidelines.
All managers and supervisors must demonstrate commitment to this Policy at all times and are responsible within their respective jurisdictions for taking those actions they deemed necessary to ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures and guidelines.
