Chris Davies
Chief Financial Officer
Chris joined the Global Container Terminals’ corporate group in June 2012. He brings a strong, solid perspective to GCT’s financial group with his experience in managing complex capital structure, securing financing, and managing the areas of tax, treasury, and insurance. He will be responsible for the strategic leadership and direction for Global Container Terminals’ financial activities and governance for both the U.S. and Canada.
Chris is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience most recently as Chief Financial Officer for Ainsworth Lumber Co. Ltd. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Finance at MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates, one of Canada’s largest technology companies.
In addition to his CA designation and more than 25 years financial experience, Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia.
